About this group
We are a small animal charity in Northern Ireland who rescue, care for, treat, neuter and re-home abused, neglected, abandoned and unwanted pets to suitable owners. Our charity has no paid staff. Some of our schemes are to help others: Pet Food Bank - we help provide pet food to those in desperate need. Project Wildcat - we help with the cost of neutering feral cats in Northern Ireland & supply free kennels & food. Matchmaking Service - we help dogs find a home
We do not charge, animals are too precious.
Reasons to support this group
We are helping people keep the animals they love during difficult times. Many have to give them up when in financial distress or will feed them instead of themselves. Our Pet Food Bank provides a support until they can get back on their feet.
Many people overlook feral cats, but our charity believes that their lives are precious too. Project Wildcat provides help to those willing to care for them. We will cover the cost of their neutering. Importantly we will provide free waterproof shelters to keep them warm and safe and pet food to keep them from starving. All cat food given to us each October (our Feral Cat Month) is also donated to them.
Our Made in Heaven Matchmaking Service provides support to people wanting to rehome their dog without the distress of them going into a kennel. We help find a suitable new owner and the dog moves direct to the new home. The owner has the final say of where the dog is going and the new owner can see the dog in it's home environment and find out about it from the owner.
As with all our schemes this is free.
